Join Zhuoli Zhang '21, along with other adventurous and curious Carls, for an introductory curling class at the Chicago Curling Club. A typical 2-hour class includes 15 minutes for an introduction, a short video, warm-up, and the all important safety discussion. The remainder of the time is focused on on-ice instruction and learning how to throw a stone, sweep, and basic strategy. The class ends with an abbreviated two-end curling game. In addition, you will learn some history about curling, curling in Illinois, and curling in the rest of the US. At the end of the class some time will be set aside for socializing and refreshments.
Cost
Cost of the class is $85 per person.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and the class is limited to 32 people. This class is open to the public so register early—we want to have as many Carls on the ice as possible!
